Whether you are looking for school volunteer hours or just wanting to meet new people and become more involved in the Saugeen Shores community, the upcoming Volunteer Fair will be a one-stop shop.

Held at the Plex May 3 from 6 to 8 p.m., the inaugural Volunteer Fair will feature many community groups providing information on why volunteers are essential and what kind of opportunities are available in the area.

Laura Mascone of the Town of Saugeen Shores said that the event is free for community groups to attend and is similar to the Leisure Fair in that attendees are free to come and go and visit as many tables as the wish.

Community groups wanting to attend can download the registration form online or by calling 519-832-2008 ext. 125 or e-mail dostlec@saugeenshores.ca.
