Carol Ann Slade’s Grade 3 students from École Port Elgin Saugeen Central School (ÉPESC) were invited to not only sing, but also to sign, O’ Canada at a recent Saugeen Shores Winterhawks playoff game against the Durham Thundercats at the Plex in Port Elgin.

After months of practicing how to sign the national anthem, on February 11, the students were ready to perform. And perform they did. All could hear and see how much practice had gone into their performance.

Students were excited to receive a souvenir to take home.
