Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that the Light the Way campaign has now reached $191,616.

From a January 6 media release, Sally Kidson, Executive Director for Foundation is overwhelmed and deeply moved by the generosity of the businesses and individuals who have supported this year’s campaign.

The funds raised will go towards purchasing the following equipment: two new patient beds, replacement flooring, patient monitoring equipment, Yag Laser, Humphrey Field Analyzer, Probe Reprocessing Unit, Histology Processor, a microscope, patient records updates.

The additional funds raised will be put towards a new cart washer, new commodes and a new sleep chair.

“The list for new equipment is ongoing,” said Kidson. “Thank you so much to everyone for their generosity of spirit and in caring for those in need in our community.”

Tax receipts for all donations made to the Foundation in 2016 will be issued at the end of January 2017.
