Following a successful Radiothon on 98 The Beach December 15 that in the end raised $65,000, the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) is pleased to announce that the Light the Way campaign is at just over $142,000.

From a December 19 media release, by making a donation, you help patients like young William, who has regularly received blood work at the Saugeen Memorial Hospital in Southampton. “William really hates getting poked, but he loves the lab tech in Southampton so much that it makes it just a little bit easier”, said William’s Mother. William has received multiple teddy bears for his blood work and proudly displays them on his wall in his bedroom.

With just $8,000 to go, those still wishing to make a donation can do so by calling 519-797-3230, ext. 3230. Donations can also be dropped off at the registration desk in the hospital or made online at SMHF’s donation page.

Donations can also be mailed to 340 High Street, Southampton, ON, N0H 2L0. All donations received by December 31, 2016 will receive a tax receipt towards the 2016 tax year. Receipts will be issued at the end of January 2017.
