The 1st Saugeen Shores Pathfinders made milk bag mats as part of their service work to earn their Canada Cord. The girls divided into teams; some weaving the mats and some creating the bag chains for weaving; while others helped to sort, flatten and cut the bags into strips.

The girls enjoyed making milk bag mats and having a positive impact by keeping waste bags out of the landfill while assisting people during natural disasters around the world.
