The Chantry Island Cham-bettes donated $500 to G.C. Huston Public School on November 8. The funds will go towards the Southampton school’s new outdoor track.

The track will consist of a 200 meter loop, a 100 meter straightaway and a place for pits for long jump as well as triple jump.

G.C. Huston's Principal Dan Russell said that through fundraising efforts from the August Colour Dash, Rotary donations and other endeavours, the school has raised approximately $15,000.
