It’s the end of an era, as members of the non-profit fundraising group Pretty in Pink made their final donation to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation after eight years of fundraising efforts in Saugeen Shores.

On November 3, $13,600 was presented to Sally Kidson, Executive Director with the Foundation. The funds were raised during September, Denim and Diamonds Gala, Pretty in Pink’s final event. Three years ago the Pretty in Pink team pledged to raise $100,000 for the Foundation to go towards their share of the new Regional Cancer Care Centre in Owen Sound. The group exceeded their goal and raised a total of $120,000.

Pretty in Pink would like to thank everyone for their generous support during their various fundraising events; from golf tournaments to luncheons, fashion shows at Infinite Lingerie and Activewear, fashion and food events at Rosina, and their Galas.
