Ring has organized a social night November 18 at Lakeshore Recreation to raise money for the Buckton family and on October 27 announced that they will split the proceeds with another Saugeen Shores’ family, the Caven family.

At 5 months old, Lydia Caven is the same age as Kyleigh and was born with five holes in her heart. Lydia is the daughter of Brad Caven and Kimmie Rodgers-Caven and will receive surgery next month at Sick Kids Hospital.

“Because of all the love we have received for Kyleigh, we wanted to share this Social Night Out with Lydia,” said Ring in a statement.

The event will take place from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and will feature a raffle and silent auction. Admission is by donation.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Lydia and at the time of publishing time has raised over $6,000. “Love you More Lydia” was created by family members Jodi Tomori and Emily Martindale to help with added expenses and lost wages. The Caven family does not wish to speak with the media at this time.
