CFUW Southport will welcome Heather M. Beecroft, Director of Beecroft Fine Arts in Guelph, to their open-to-the-public meeting at the Southampton Art School and Gallery, Wednesday, October 12 at 7 p.m.

Heather has made it her goal to promote art, in particular Inuit Art, for many years. She has promoted Inuit artists throughout her teaching career as well as within the Inuit cooperative system.

Travelling in the Arctic is a passion for Beecroft, something she shares with fun and vigorous enthusiasm.

Beecroft works with Adventure Canada and has a diverse employment history including teaching and being a fine art consultant. She loves “show and tell” and is looking forward to sharing her experiences with CFUW Southport.

Admission for non-members is by donation and refreshments will be available. Speaker series is sponsored by Ontario Power Generation.
