Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit (Project “P”), the OPP Technological Crimes Unit and the Saugeen Shores Police Service have arrested and charged a Saugeen Shores man in a child pornography investigation.
From an August 25 OPP media release, on August 24, 2016 the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, the OPP Technological Crimes Unit and the Saugeen Shores Police Service arrested a man following a three month investigation. During a residential search warrant two computer systems, two cell phones, a hard drive and other storage devices pertinent to the investigation were seized.
On August 24, 2016, police arrested David Hodge, 57 years old of Saugeen Shores and charged him with possession of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
The accused was remanded into custody and scheduled to appear for a bail hearing on August 24.
An Arran-Elderslie man and three Owen Sound men have also been charged.
