In their final season, Pretty in Pink presented $12,000 to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation on August 5 at Infinite Lingerie in Southampton. The Pretty in Pink Ladies Golf Tournament in June raised $12,000, to go towards regional cancer care. Pretty in Pink pledged to raise $100,000 for cancer care over five years and this year’s golf tournament brings their total raised to $92,000.

The non-profit team hopes to raise the balance at Pretty in Pink’s grand finale, the Denim and Diamonds Gala, a dinner and dance, along with a silent auction, which is being held on Saturday, September 3 at Southampton’s Coliseum Annex. Tickets for the Gala are $100 include a $20 tax receipt and are available at Infinite Lingerie.

Over the years Pretty in Pink has organized 25 events around Saugeen Shores and has donated $34,000 to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and $62,000 to the Regional Mammography Campaign. The group is also named on two examinations rooms at the new Cancer Care Centre in the Owen Sound Hospital in acknowledgement of funds raised.
