Butterfly Gardens of Saugeen Shores (BGOSS) is pleased to announce the continued support of Bruce Power toward its many projects in 2016. “Our extended programs and plantings for 2016 were made possible by Bruce Power. They have been strong supporters since our inception in 2014. It is nice to see this partnership making a difference throughout Saugeen Shores,” said BGOSS co-founder, Kerry Jarvis.
Francis Chua, Manager of Environment and Sustainability at Bruce Power is a keen supporter of Butterfly Gardens of Saugeen Shores. Chua volunteered in the planting day of new pods at Perkins Park and has been instrumental in the growth of BGOSS. “Bruce Power is honoured to be a contributor to the wonderful community and environmental project undertaken by the Butterfly Gardens of Saugeen Shores. We share the same care and concern for protection of Monarch butterflies and other pollinators,” said Chua, adding that she was “very grateful” for the passion in BGOSS and volunteers.
