IMG 0691 560Perkins Park washrooms are now more accessible than ever thanks, in part, to the Southampton Rotary Club. Working in partnership with the Town of Saugeen Shores, renovations were completed on the facility, including accessible grab bars, widened doorways, tilted mirrors and accessible counter tops.

“It’s important to be an inclusive community. I’m pleased with the partnership between the municipality and the Southampton Rotary group. Their generosity is always appreciated,” said Frank Burrows, Parks Manager.

The Town of Saugeen Shores continues to work toward creating accessible spaces for all to enjoy. Parks and facilities are continuously being retrofitted to ensure a more inclusive community, for persons with all levels of ability.
