Pretty in Pink are $1,000 closer to their $100,000 pledge to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) for Cancer Care, thanks to a donation from Ontario Power Generation (OPG) June 14 in support of Pretty in Pink's grand finale event, Denim and Diamonds, a gala dinner taking place at the Southampton Coliseum, September 3.

On Friday, June 17, Pretty in Pink will hold their fifth, final and sold out ladies golf tournament at Saugeen Golf Club. “We're up to $86,000,” said Pretty in Pink Co-Chair, Sylvia Sheard. “We're hoping that we'll exceed the $100,000.”

Denim & Diamonds will take place September 3 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. with tickets going on sale June 18. The $100 ticket price will include a cocktail reception, appetizers, a four course dinner, dancing, a diamond raffle and more. Tickets will be available at Infinite Lingerie & Active Wear in Southampton and proceeds from the event will go towards SMHF regional cancer care.
