On May 24 the Saugeen Shores Get Outdoors Youth Club (SSGOYC) welcomed Heather Little, Senior Manager for Community Support Services for the Canadian Red Cross.

Little gave a presentation explaining to the youth of the events taking place in Fort McMurray and how the Red Cross has been assisting those in need.

Our Youth Club then presented a cheque in the amount of $2,075 to the Canadian Red Cross for the Alberta’s fire relief efforts. These funds were raised during the Port Elgin Trees for Saugeen planting effort, where the SSGOYC planted and delivered over 160 trees.
