Hello Saugeen Shores!

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Justin Duhaime and I am running for Saugeen Ward Council in the 2022 Saugeen Shores municipal election.

I was raised in Saugeen Shores and graduated from Northport Elementary and Saugeen District Secondary School.

Many weekends of my youth were spent at the local arenas or baseball diamonds working on winning a championship for Saugeen Shores. These experiences allowed me to develop my teamwork and leadership skills.

After graduating high school, I enrolled at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario studying Mechanical Engineering Technology. After graduating in 2010, I moved home to Saugeen Shores and accepted a position with Bruce Power as a nuclear operator in training. From there I progressed into my current role being licensed by the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission as an Authorized Nuclear Operator. In this role I am part of a team who ensures the safe operation of the Bruce Power reactors.

I want to be your councillor to help lead the next phase of growth in Saugeen Shores that will benefit all residents. This includes investments in our town infrastructure and recreational facilities. My leadership, teamwork, and communication skills will allow me to work with all stakeholders in achieving this level of growth with transparency.
