imageThe women at the Co-operators showed their support for Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey in a fun and interesting way by hosting a Victoria Secret Night.

On December 8, the women of Co-operators hosted a private viewing of the annual Victoria Secret Fashion Show. Guests were asked to bring an old bra as the price of admission. A fun way to enter but there was a larger purpose in mind. In total 118 bras were collected and will be sent to Free the Girls, an organization that provides an opportunity for sex trafficking survivors around the world to build a business selling second hand clothing while re-establishing themselves in society.

Tropix Swimwear put on a mini fashion show as part of the evening, Hair Connection offered lash extensions by donation and food was provided by Gilley’s Feedlot, where the event was held, as well as the Co-operators.

Co-operators also provided champagne to those in attendance and donations from local businesses raised $1,200 through a silent auction.

All funds raised was donated to the Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey.
