Annual shoreline rehabilitation work along North Shore Road will be getting underway beginning Monday, September 29, 2025. As a result North Shore Road will be closed between 84 and 124 North Shore Road Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm.
For safety reasons, pedestrians and cyclists are also asked to use a trail detour. Traffic north of the construction zone will be directed to Concession 10 and traffic to the south will be directed to McVicar Street.
After several years of high-water levels eroding the shoreline, the Town is working to fix the trail and protect the road.
