Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation (SMHF) is pleased to announce that Bruce Power has committed to being the Presenting Sponsor for the Gran Fondo Lake Huron.

The 2020 Gran Fondo Lake Huron is set for Sunday, August 16 and has a fundraising goal of $225,000.

In a SMHF media release, "We take so much pride in our participation as the Presenting Sponsor of the Gran Fondo Lake Huron,” said Chris Mercanti, Manager of Community and Indigenous Relations, Bruce Power. "We’re pleased to once again support an event that promotes a healthy lifestyle and raises funds for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.”

“This is our third year running the Gran Fondo Lake Huron fundraising cycling event in support of the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation," said Tracy Murray, Executive Director for the Foundation. "Bruce Power has always been such a strong supporter as the Presenting Sponsor of this event, we couldn’t be more thrilled or grateful for their tremendous support of our organization."

Bruce Power has committed to giving the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation $50,000 a year into 2023. Their Gran Fondo sponsorship is part of this $50,000.
