The Town of Saugeen Shores recently received two donations from Ontario Power Generation (OPG).

On behalf of Ontario Power Generation, Linda Cain, Senior Communications Advisor/Corporate Relations and Communications presented a cheque to the Saugeen Shores Senior Games which got underway April 11 and runs to May 19. The Games will close with an Awards Luncheon at the Chantry Centre following 13 planned events at various events around Saugeen Shores. The Games are expected to draw more than 100 local seniors.

Ontario Power Generation also sponsored two Summer Bandshell Concerts in Saugeen Shores. The first on Sunday, July 2 at Fairy Lake in Southampton and the second at the Port Elgin Main Beach on Sunday, September 3.

The full concert series runs each Sunday throughout the summer, July 2 to September 3 at both locations.
