The Saugeen Shores Winterhawks released their regular season schedule for the upcoming 2019/20 W.O.A.A. Sr. “AA” Hockey League season.

The Winterhawks will once again play a 22-game schedule, including 11 home games at The Plex in Port Elgin.

The season opens on the road against the Ripley Wolves in Kincardine on October 5th at 5:00 p.m., as part of Hockey Day in Kincardine.

The home schedule kicks off in style as the Winterhawks are set to face off against the rival Durham Thundercats on October 11th at 8:30 p.m. for the Outlaw Brew Co. Home Opener.

Other notable home games include a visit from the defending champion Clinton Radars on November 8th, as well as a Sunday afternoon matinee [4:00 p.m. start] on November 24th against the Shallow Lake Crushers.

The lone Saturday home game goes December 27th when the Elora Rocks visit for a 7:00 p.m. start, with the regular season wrapping up on January 24th with a visit from the Lucknow Lancers.

The Winterhawks open training camp under returning Head Coach Matt Turcotte on September 10th at The Plex.
