The Town of Saugeen Shores Landfill will now be open on Mondays year-round. The Town announced the extended hours in a media release March 1 with the new hours taking effect March 4.

The landfill will be open every Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. year round and is located at 126 Concession 14 in Saugeen Shores.

“Keeping the landfill site open on Mondays throughout the year is a great opportunity to increase service to our residents,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau. “The change comes at a low cost and is something our community will appreciate.”

The new year-round landfill hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The landfill is closed Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
