The Shoreline Artists Signature Show and Art Sale was a hit with its move from the Pumpkinfest Village to Rotary Hall at the Plex, September 30 and October 1.

Eighteen artists with a variety of art displayed their pieces in the clean, open space which co-organizer Jill Pratt described as “heaven”.

“I think we have more art lookers than we had last year,” said Pratt, adding that on the first day of the art show they saw a steady stream of art lovers mixed with Pumpkinfest attendees who came from shuttle buses as the Plex was used as one of the shuttle drop-off points.

As attendees entered the Plex they were met with the Shoreline Artists Canada 150 project titled “My Canada”. The work of art which was created by Jill Pratt and Lorraine Bouchard will be raffled off to a lucky winner. Money raised from the raffle will go towards a deserving art student from the Class of 2018. Kincardine graduate Lindsay Glover is the 2017 recipient.
