The Municipality of Kincardine announced today (Oct. 5, 2023) that it has entered into an agreement with Windsor Private Capital for the acquisition of Bruce Telecom Inc. "by way of a friendly acquisition bid."

In an October 5 media release, Bruce Telecom serves Chesley, Kincardine, Port Elgin, Tiverton, Owen Sound, Southampton and the surrounding region and Ray Lahoud, Bruce Telecom CEO said they are "delighted with the acquisition" and look forward to introducing their customers to Windsor Private Capital.

"Windsor Private Capital brings capital and strategic connections that will strengthen our company’s position in the market, benefitting our employees and customers," Lahoud said.

Senior Vice-President for Windsor Private Capital, Marco Di Carlantonio said Bruce Telecom was an "excellent communications provider" and has shown "remarkable commitment to customer service."

"Our shared values and vision make us confident that this new chapter will lead to a prosperous future for Bruce Telecom and the communities we serve," Di Carlantonio added.

The transaction is for 100 percent of Bruce Telecom shares, is subject to ISED approval, and is expected to close in the last quarter of 2023.
