The Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce and the BRASS Awards Committee are pleased to announce that the judging panel has determined the top three nominees for the 2018 BRASS (Business Recognition of Achievement in Saugeen Shores) Awards.

In a Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce media release, the top three finalists in each category are:

Business of the Year:

Young Professional of the Year:
Elyse Brown - Hair Southampton
Dane Buttenaar - Backyard Boys Landscape Construction
Melissa MacKinnon - Unleash the Pawsitive

Customer Service Excellence:
Kristen’s Pharmacy
Bruce County Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic
Hampton Court Retirement Lodge

Excellence in Skilled Trade:
Sonas Hair & Esthetics
Dale’s Carpentry
EMS Plumbing Services

New this year will be the addition of The Mayor’s Community Service Award, sponsored by the Town of Saugeen Shores, which will be presented to a business or individual who has made a significant contribution to the Saugeen Shores community this year.

The Chamber is also excited to be presenting another Lifetime Achievement Award, sponsored by Re/Max Land Exchange Ltd. Brokerage Port Elgin, to a business that has been an integral part of the Saugeen Shores community for many years.

Winners will be announced at the BRASS Awards gala dinner on June 2 at Saugeen Golf Club, celebrating the business community with a three-course meal, a silent and live auction as well as an opportunity to network with other members of the Saugeen Shores community.

Any profits from the BRASS Awards gala will benefit the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce and their community and event initiatives.

Tickets start at $65 ($70 for non members) for individuals or $500 ($550 for non members) for a table of eight.
