Solo tells the story of Simon, a rising star in the Montreal drag scene. It is being screened at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre June 20.

In an aim to bring international film to Bruce County, Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre is presenting the first four films for its 2024 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) series.
The is set to kick off on Thursday, June 20 at 6pm with a screening of the award-winning film Solo, a Canadian romantic drama directed by Sophie Dupuis that follows the life of a young emerging Montreal drag queen.
Following the film, a special Pride Month Equality Panel discussion will be held with special guest Director Andrew Moir as well as local community groups who will delve into conversation on the significance and protection of queer art.
The event is presented by Bruce Power, is an age 19 plus event and is free to attend with a cash bar.
