Bruce County Public Library (BCPL) is celebrating countries from around the world this March Break.

March Break this year is March 13 to March 17 and this year's theme is 'Great Big World - Travel Through Books!' Each day during the week all 17 branches are offering staff led programs and activities on Antarctica, Scotland, Mexico, Ghana and Australia.

Passports will be available at all 17 branches and once participants have completed their passport they can be entered to win prizes.

Programs include making a Scottish tartan placemat or an Australian rain stick. For a full schedule of the March Break Great Big World events, visit https://library.brucecounty.on.ca/events/.

Those who wish to participate from home can also access a daily video on Bruce County Public Library's YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/@BruceCountyPublicLibrary.

Also during March Break the Port Elgin and Kincardine branches will be hosting family movies with Ferdinand in Port Elgin on Tuesday, March 14 at 1pm and DC League of Super Pets in Kincardine on Friday, March 17 at 1pm.

Also on Tuesday, Scott Dietrich will bring his Magic to Port Elgin at 11am. Pre-registration is required for this free 35-minute magic show. Book your spot by calling the Branch at 519-832-2201.

Branches will continue to run special Story Times, Teen and Tween Club meetings, Book Clubs, Adult programming, and more. Learn about 3D Printers in Port Elgin, Chesley and Walkerton. Try a Cricut craft in Ripley, Kincardine, and Tara.
