To no one's surprise, the Town of Saugeen Shores announced Friday that they have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Labour Day fireworks display.

On May 26, we announced that the Canada Day fireworks display had been postponed with the hope at the time being that they would be able to be held Labour Day, but due to gathering restrictions still in place, with fireworks drawing substantial crowds, the risk of spreading COVID-19 was deemed too high.
