The Paisley Blues Festival has created a Guitar Lending Program for youth ages 10 to 18 years in Grey and Bruce counties.

The program uses Fender electric guitars as they are better suited to smaller hands and require very little finger pressure to make sound. The program allows youth to sign out a guitar and amp for three months at no charge and participants also receive access to Fender Play, an online learning platform, at no charge and for the same three month period.

Parents and guardians can sign out a guitar by visiting www.paisleyrocks.com/guitar-sign-out-form.html and filling out a short form. They'll be asked to provide valid identification and sign a waiver when picking up the guitar and amp. At the time of publishing, half of the guitars had been signed out so it is recommended to book as soon as possible.
