It was a fun day for students and teachers alike at G.C. Huston's annual Slip and Slide event July 25.

After a cloudy start to the day, the skies cleared and the sun came out to shine over G.C. Huston Public School in Southampton for their fourth annual Slip and Slide event June 25.
Holding watering hoses and bottles of dish soap, Grade 7 and 8 students made sure that tarps stretching down the school's hill were wet and slippery, ready for a wild ride.
Throughout the day students took their turn, grade by grade, for some end of year fun. Teachers also took part in the excitement, joining their classes as they headed down the hill with smiles on the faces of all.
It was all fun and foam as Senior Kindergarten student Amirrah reached the bottom of the hill at G.C. Huston Public School June 25.
