The Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce is inviting everyone to the "Celebrate Canada!" fireworks and festivities by the Big Flag in Southampton on July 1st.

In a Chamber media release, ahead of the fireworks show which is set to begin at dusk, join the Rotary Club for a barbecue beginning at 4 p.m. Rotarians will also be patrolling as the "Bucket Brigade," collecting donations to help make the fireworks a free event for residents and visitors of Saugeen Shores.

Spectators are also encouraged to ride their bicycle to the Big Flag July 1st to take advantage of the "Bike Val-Eh" beginning at 5 p.m. This service is being provided by the Town of Saugeen Shores, Southampton BIA and Martin’s Bicycle Shop.

The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre will also have a table set up displaying history and heritage information and spectators can take in live musical performances from the Southampton Concert Band and Chantry Singers beginning at 7:30 p.m.
