diversity film fest

The second annual Diversity Film Fest is set to get underway April 4 at the Port Elgin Library, 709 Goderich Street.

Presented by the Inclusive Communities Committee of Grey and Bruce, the Film Fest is part of the Grey Bruce One World Festival, now in its ninth year, with this year's theme being "Sharing Our Stories."

The community is invited to attend four free Thursday night films from 6:30 to 9 p.m. exploring the diverse experiences of simply being human. A discussion and Q&A will follow each screening.

April 4 - An experience of friendship, Monsieur Ibrahim (14A)

April 18 - An LGBTQ+ experience, Love is Strange (14A)

April 25 - An experience of resistance, North Country (14A)

May 2 - An Indigenous experience - Indian Horse (14A)

In addition to the Port Elgin Library, the same four films are showing at the Owen Sound Library at the same dates and times.
