Put your thinking caps on and join Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre (BCM&CC) for a fast-paced night of trivia hosted by Quizmaster Ross Docherty.
In a BCM&CC media release, test your random knowledge of music, geography, sports, and of course, Bruce County history on Thursday, March 21. The event will act as a fundraiser for the Museum and will also feature a silent auction table.
This trivia event is the first in a series of eight that will be held throughout Bruce County this year as the Museum works to raise countywide awareness about the facility that houses the collective history of the area.
“We wanted to host a series of events that would take the Museum to every municipality in Bruce County and trivia nights seemed like the perfect way to get people involved in something fun, while showcasing the Museum,” said Maria Canton, BCM&CC Development Officer and organizer of the trivia events.
Teams of four, five or six players can register now for the inaugural Trivia Night on March 21. The fee is $100 per team regardless of the number of players. Individuals can also register for $20 and will be placed on a team made up of other individual players.
Other dates and locations will be announced at the March 21 event. The funds raised from the events will be used to support the important work of the Museum.
Quizmaster Ross Docherty originally hails from the UK where he worked as an elementary school teacher. Docherty, a regular on stage with Owen Sound Little Theatre, is well known in Bruce and Grey counties for his trivia nights.
