Eastlink is excited to announce the premiere of a new program “What’s That?” launching on Eastlink Community TV February 23.
The series, filmed in Saugeen Shores at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre, features host Leslie McNamara as she presents items from the past to a panel of children. Watch as they have fun using their imaginations to answer the question, "What's that?"
Fourteen local children aged 5 to 8 star in the first two pilot episodes with six additional episodes planned. “Eastlink is proud to showcase the people, places and events that shape the communities we serve through Eastlink Community TV,” said Ron Mervis, Eastlink Regional Manager.
Auditions for future episodes will be held March 2 in the Theatre of the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre. New episodes will be recorded March 29 and 30 to air in the 2019 fall lineup with Janet Dawson, Tina Hrinivich and Leslie McNamara back as Community Producers.
The new series will be celebrated in February with a launch party in conjunction with the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre to thank the children, parents and community producers.
The series launches on Eastlink Community TV Channel 610 on Saturday, February 23 at 10:30 a.m. and will air Saturdays throughout March. The program will be available through Eastlink OnDemand after March 23.
