The 49th annual Southampton Craft Show is set to showcase thousands of crafts with over 140 indoor and outdoor vendors on Thursday, July 5 at the Southampton Coliseum.

The Show is set to run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“Not only is this a wonderful event for all ages, local residents and tourists alike, but it has become a major fundraiser for PRANCE,” said Brenda Murray, Vendor Coordinator, Southampton Craft Show Committee.

In a Southampton Craft Show submission, Pegasus Riding Association Nurturing Challenged Equestrians (PRANCE) is an equestrian program dedicated to the growth and development of individuals with intellectual, physical and emotional challenges through volunteerism and community partnerships.

The Southampton Craft Show attracts top notch artists as is testified by numerous vendors returning year after year. For the fifth year, organizers are pleased to offer free shuttle service from Port Elgin. Pick up and drop off points are at the LCBO, south end of the Giant Tiger Plaza, 216 Goderich Street; Missionary Church, 650 Green Street; St Joseph Church, 920 Wellington Street; and The Plex, 600 Tomlinson Street.

The shuttle will run hourly beginning at 10 a.m. with the final pick up leaving the show to head back to Port Elgin at 7 p.m.

Show highlights include over 140 artists and artisans from across the province showcasing unique handiwork such as pottery, jewellery, paintings, gourmet food, sewing for infants to adults, woodworking, toys, games and books. There is an ATM on site and a food court will be available from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. including homemade pie.

Admission is $4, children under 12 are free. A 50/50 draw will be drawn at 7 p.m.
