As part of the inaugural Maplefest on Saturday, March 24, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Port Elgin BIA is hosting a photo scavenger hunt. To participate in the ‘mapley’ fun, find 12 maple leaves hidden in 12 different businesses in downtown Port Elgin.
Once each leaf has been located, take a selfie with it and post the photo to Twitter, Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #portelginmaplefest.
When 12 pictures have been posted participants will be entered into a grand prize draw including gift cards, store merchandise, and much more; all donated from the Port Elgin BIA group.

Maplefest is free to attend and is happening in downtown Port Elgin on Saturday, March 24 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The inaugural festival includes a pancake breakfast, vendors, maple treats, carriage rides, crafts, a petting zoo, battle axe throwing, pioneer demonstrations, and dog sled rides.
