At G.C. Huston Public School this Halloween all students were invited to dress up in their costumes while the staff dressed as the 'Minions' from the movie Despicable Me with their principal Dan Russell as 'Gru'. In the morning the younger grades took to all the classrooms in a costume parade with 'Ghostly Gala' dance parties throughout the day.
Leading up to Halloween students collected non-perishable food items for WE Scare Hunger, a food drive organized by schools worldwide and supported by Me To We.

Northport Elementary School also had a blast as they celebrated this year with all the students dressing their best in trick or treating costumes with teachers and staff also taking part. Each class had their own little party, some decorating gourds, playing bingo, or having a little dance time with some students taking part in a costume parade. Teachers and students had lots of fun they can’t wait until they get to do it again next Halloween.
