CBBC 2016The 22nd annual Canadian Big Band Celebration in 2016 saw The Mike Campbell Trio entertain at Duffy’s in Southampton as part of the Friday Night Jazz.

Multi award winner singer songwriter and author Ian Thomas will be featured as a special guest with The Lulu’s Band at the 23rd annual Canadian Big Band Celebration (CBBC) September 15 to 17. Thomas’ first international hit was "Painted Ladies" which launched in 1973. When he isn’t performing his own shows, he also records, with four albums to date, and tours the country regularly with good friends Murray McLauchlan, Marc Jordan and Cindy Church.

The CBBC is an annual three day festival celebrating dancing and the Dance Pavilion heritage we share along the Lake Huron shoreline spanning decades from the 1920s to the 1980s. Five CBBC events are offered including Friday Night Jazz, two Saturday Big Dance events, a Sunday Jazz Brunch and this year a Sunday afternoon “Canada 150 Concert Legacy Project” featuring Chantry Singers Choir and Canadian Big Band.
