Doug Chisholm, manager of Port Elgin's Pet Valu, spent Saturday in confines to raise money for the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter and R&R Rescue and Retreat.

Doug Chisholm spent Saturday in confines for a good cause. Passersby could make a donation to help Chisholm get out of the cage or pay to increase the time to keep him in longer.
Chisholm is the manager of Pet Valu's Port Elgin location and the "Escape the Cage" is one of many events and draws happening throughout June at the location.
The proceeds from Saturday's antics will be donated to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter and R&R Rescue and Retreat.
