The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre will host a drag show on June 12 as part of local Pride Month celebrations.
‘Museums are a Drag! An Evening of Drag’ will feature performers Sapphyre Poison, Violet S. Parks, Devine Darlin and Farra N’ Hyte from TroyBoy Entertainment. Organizers say guests can expect “dazzling looks and high-energy performances, featuring crowd favourite pop anthems complemented by fresh, expertly choreographed dance routines.”
The age-of-majority event will include light refreshments and a cash bar. The event runs from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
A portion of proceeds will be donated to Kincardine Pride and Grey Bruce Pride.
TroyBoy Entertainment is a southwestern Ontario drag production company known for staging drag and burlesque shows that combine comedy, choreography, live performance and audience interaction at venues and community events across the region. More than 100 entertainers have graced their stages in 63 communities over a 13-year period.
