The Tara Branch of the Bruce County Public Library (BCPL) will be closing its doors from December 8 to 22 to install new flooring and upgraded shelving.
The branch and book drop will be unavailable during this period.
Patrons with existing holds will be notified to arrange an alternate pick up location and borrowed materials can be returned to any of the other BCPL branches (link below).
Anyone unable to return materials to another branch is asked to hang onto them until the Tara branch reopens.
BCPL's Digital Library will remain open 24/7 and offers ebooks, audiobooks, streaming content, newspapers, and other digital resources.
"Upon completion, Bruce County Public Library will invite the community to view the updates at an Open House event," read a December 5 media release from BCPL. "BCPL appreciates the community’s patience as we work to create a welcoming space for everyone," the release said.
