The holidays are here and Saugeen Shores is bringing art, culture, and community together for the festive season. It's not just about lights and decorations, it's about community creativity, local artisans, and celebrating culture through craft and fun. From handmade gifts to music-filled evenings, , parades, youth participation, and festive markets, the town and surrounding areas are showing how art and holiday cheer bring people together while supporting the local economy.

🤶 Light Up the Holidays - Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre
Families and friends are invited to celebrate the season with BCM&CC's annual Light Up the Holidays event on Friday, December 12 from 5 to 8pm.
Featuring will feature holiday sing-alongs with the Chantry Singers, photos with Santa, holiday crafts, face painting, and live heritage demonstrations. The evening will also include a colouring contest, a scavenger hunt, holiday storytime readings, refreshments, and a Price is Right game for a chance to win fabulous prizes.
🎅 24 Days of Christmas Indoor Market - Southampton Arts Centre Gallery
Artisans will have a wonderful selection of unique, handmade, and thoughtful gift ideas for friends and family inside the Southampton Arts Centre Gallery open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm and Sunday from 12 to 4pm until December 21. Festive Fridays until 8pm.
Food and toy drive boxes will be also set up in the Gallery for an easy way to donate. And don't forget to enter their 24 Days of Christmas Advent Draw. Each day they are open, a winner will be drawn to win a free gift donated by the artisans.
🎄 Artisans Christmas Market - Maple Square Mall
Open Daily 10am to 5:30 pm, Fridays from 10am to 7pm, come to the Artisans Christmas Market at 515 Goderich Street in Port Elgin for handmade treasures and crafts.

Saturday, November 29 | 10:30am to 4pm
Community-focused market with handmade gifts, holiday décor, and baked goods. Donations support local food banks.

❄️ 7th Annual Makers Market — Saugeen First Nation Recreation Centre
Saturday, December 6 | 10am to 4pm
Local artisans from the Saugeen First Nation community showcase handcrafted goods and activities.
🎶 A Night of Christmas — Southampton Town Hall
Friday, December 12 | 7pm
Community musicians perform holiday classics. Pay-what-you-can entry; supports youth music programs.

Join organizers at the Rec Centre after the parade for Santa, hot chocolate, and snacks.
