100 Women Who Care Grey Bruce (100WWCGB) has once again giv100 en their largest donation to date. As a result of their May meeting the group presented Saugeen Hospice Inc. with a cheque for $34,400 toward their future facility.
The funds will purchase a cuddle bed for the hospice, a specially designed bed which will allow family members to remain comfortable and close to their loved ones.
The organization is nearing their fundraising goal of $10 million at which point construction will begin. Once built the hospice will provide compassionate and professional end-of-life care in southern Grey and Bruce counties.
100WWCGB donated a total of $107,100 in 2024 and are on our way to surpass that total in 2025.
Their next meeting will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre.
