Holiday Inn Express and Suites and Staybridge Suites Port Elgin owners Summerside Hospitality Group has donated $50,000 to the new Saugeen Shores Aquatic and Wellness Centre (AWC)

In a media release to Saugeen Shores Hub July 8, Mayor Luke Charbonneau said the Town is incredibly grateful for the donation. "This investment in our community reflects the spirit of partnership and a shared commitment to enhancing recreation and quality of life in Saugeen Shores."

Holiday Inn Express and Suites Port Elgin General Manager Trevor Raynsford said the AWC is a fantastic addition to the already excellent recreation facilities in Saugeen Shores and that their hotels are always pleased to host visitors who travel here for sports tourism.

"We look forward to welcoming swimmers and their families as they come to compete at this exciting new venue," said Raynsford. "Summerside Hospitality Group is proud to support the facility and the future of health and wellness in our community."
