The first of the season beach volleyball party that takes over the Port Elgin Main Beach every June has a new title sponsor. The 'Welcome to Summer' Beach Volleyball Tournament, June 16 and 17, run by Social Athletics of Saugeen Shores (SASS) has partnered with the Tiverton based cannabis producer 7Acres.

Over 30 teams took part in last year’s tournament, playing on the volleyball courts and enjoying live music in the beach beer gardens. Organizers say the tournament is expected to grow this year.
