The SS Trolley will be extending its long weekend hours for the remainder of the summer. The tourist bus runs seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the summer months and beginning with the Civic Holiday, the long weekend hours will extend until 9 p.m. in the evenings on the following dates: August 3, August 4, August 31 and September 1.

For safety reasons the SS Trolley will not be running during the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Gran Fondo cycling fundraiser August 19.

The cost to ride the SS Trolley is $2 per person. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and children 5 and under ride for free.

The bus runs along the Lake Huron shoreline from Port Elgin to Southampton and back again with eight stops along the way. For routes, stop locations and to access the trolley’s whereabouts, visit sstrolley.ca/map.
