bruce powerBruce Power will focus $2 million of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budget between 2019 and 2023 on health care, mental health and education initiatives.

“Some of the most important issues for families in the community are the quality of health care and education, so we have decided to focus a significant portion of our Community Investment and Sponsorship budget on those areas over the next five years,” said Mike Rencheck, Bruce Power’s President and CEO.

“By focusing the $2 million locally, the program will continue to make a positive impact on the communities, organizations and people of Bruce, Grey and Huron counties, and we encourage everyone to submit their applications for 2019 funding by September 15, 2018.”

Bruce Power’s CSR Program invests $1.6 million annually into organizations, non-profits, and events that positively impact health and wellness, Indigenous peoples, youth development, community, environment, and military, veterans and first responders. This is in addition to employees, suppliers and unions connected with Bruce Power, all of whom raised an additional $1 million in 2017 for various fundraising initiatives.
