It was a royal affair at Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation’s (SMHF) Fairytale Ball November 12 where kings, queens and other favourite fairy tale characters dug up the dance floor and enjoyed a feast.

The event, organized by Lakeshore Recreation was a fundraiser for SMHF's annual Light the Way campaign and raised 1,602.63 for the hospital’s annual needs.

High school students Maddy Craig, Victoria Sousa, Sarah Sollors, Frances Rosario, Kayla Morris, MacKenzie MacQueen and Olivia Weber fashioned themselves after Disney princesses, from Jasmine to Elsa, which thrilled many of the youngsters who took photos and danced with the real life characters; while Snow White read to the kids and kids at heart in her reading area.
