Proceeds from the 29th annual Huron Shore Run were doled out to community groups by race organizers John and June Van Bastelaar August 12, with the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation receiving $30,000.

Community partners from both Southampton and Port Elgin Rotary Clubs each received $4,000 with the Saugeen Track and Field Club also receiving $4,000.
