boulder 560The boulder was costly to purchase and transport, said Fitness Funatics owner Shelley Greig.

Some time between the evening of Friday, May 12 and the morning of Saturday, May 13, someone stole a boulder from the lawn at Fitness Funatics in Port Elgin.

Owner Shelley Greig said there was no damage to the ground or the surrounding area so she believes someone would have had access to large machinery in order to pick the boulder up and transport it.

Greig said she planned on having the Fitness Funatics address put on the boulder this summer and called the incident “very maddening.”
